If you want to be happy, do not dwell in the past, do not worry about the future, focus on living fully in the present. ~ Roy T Bennett
Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing: now it springs forth, do you not percieve it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. ~ Isaiah 43:18-19
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~ Psalm 118:24
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. ~ Matthew 6:34
Here are some of the ways we enjoyed our day today.

I enjoyed spending time in the garden, pulling weeds, thinning the radishes, and harvesting the first few radishes of the season. When I pull weeds, I usually give them to the chickens to provide them with something different to scratch around in. Gray (or That Cat, as we often affectionately call him) supervised.

Our Bible lesson today was about Moses and the burning bush.

Our letter of the week is Uu so we watched some videos about the letter and the sound it makes.

We colored pictures of Moses and the burning bush and practiced letter recognition and writing the letter U.

Here are some other books and videos we enjoyed. I knew I had more Easter books, but I couldn't find them last week. I found them this morning, so we read them at story time today.

There was a flowerpot with dirt but no plants outside, and I had a pack of artificial flowers that I had bought for a project but never used. So, this morning I let the kids make their own flower arrangement.

Real flowers are fun too - especially dandelions puffs that can be blown to make the seeds float away!

We're still enjoying the seashells every day.

We were outside for most of our playtime, but we did have a little time to play inside.
Staying focused on the blessings of the moment is definitely a much better way to live than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future!
