Teddy Bears' Picnic Day and More

I am so blessed to have found the work that I am passionate about, and that gives purpose to my days. For me, there is nothing than better than spending my days with these precious gifts from God to the world. To be able to be a part of their learning and development is a privilege and a blessing.

Today (July 10) is National Teddy Bear Picnic Day.

At lunchtime, we had a picnic with our teddy bears and ate teddy bear-shaped PB&Js. The kids were SO excited! It's little things like this that make the days fun.

We also watched a few Teddy Bears' Picnic videos and read a book about a teddy bear.

And here is a little more of our day.

Today is also National Kitten Day so we read books and watched videos about kittens.

This evening, I picked my niece up from the farm where she volunteers, helping to care for the horses and giving riding lessons to kids with disabilities. These pictures are from another day when I picked her up, showing her with some of the horses she works with. She loves this work and I can tell the horses love her.
