Early Morning Thoughts

The heart of God truly is to love us and be loved in return. It is the golden thread that runs through every scene in the tapestry of His story with us. What a beautiful thing it is to be loved by God and to give love in return!

In the Kitchen

For Christmas I was given a pretty jar of chocolate chip cookie mix that I mixed up and baked for the kids for their snack today.

Michael and I have discovered that we really like Shrimp and Grits. I also sauteed some sliced zucchini to go with it. It was really delicious.

Fun With the Kids

We enjoyed reading these books and reviewing alphabet flashcards.

The kids are loving the baby ducks we brought home from Tractor Supply on Saturday. It's so fun to see the individual reactions and watch them interact. And i love waking up each morning to little baby bird sounds again.

And they had lots of fun just playing together.

Today has been a good day!
