Sunshine and Rain and the Glory of God - June 20

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.

The skies proclaim His craftsmanship.

Day after day they continue to speak;

night after night they make Him known.

They speak without a sound or word;

their voice is never heard.

Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,

and their words to all the world.

God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.

~ Psalm 119:1-4

Since our garden is producing so many radishes I'm looking for new ways to use them. Yesterday I tried roasted radishes and I really really liked them. I cut each radish in half and seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder and parsley. Then I added diced bacon and roasted them. I'll definitely make these again.

One of our learning cards this week is about sharing. So I found them a story to watch about a little duck that learned that sharing is always better.

Yesterday was nice and sunny and we got lots of time outside.

But today we were inside all day because of the rain. We needed the rain though so I'm not complaining.

Every aspect of creation is ultimately a revelation of the transcendent nature and power of God. This is especially true of the unfolding revelation of the microcosmic quantum world over the past 100 years. "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and divine nature." (Romans 1:20) The more we learn about the quantum world the clearer the glory of God comes into focus. pg. 223
