Jesus, You have come to the lakeshore
Looking neither for wealthy or wise ones,
You only ask me to follow You humbly.
You know so well my possessions;
My boat carries no gold or weapons;
You will find there my nets and my labor.
You need my hands, full of caring
Through my labors to give others rest,
And constant love that keeps on loving.
You, who have fished other oceans,
Ever longed for by souls who are waiting,
My loving friend, as this you call me.
Refrain:
O Jesus, with your eyes you have searched me,
And while smiling have spoken my name;
Now my boat's left on the shoreline behind me;
By your side I will seek other seas.
Every time we sing this song in church there is one particular part that especially speaks to me -
O Jesus, with your eyes you have searched me,
And while smiling have spoken my name;
To know that even though He has searched out my heart, and He sees and knows everything about me, He still smiles when He calls my name is so amazing and wonderful to me!
. . . that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. ~ Ephesians 3:17b-19

The pear tree in the back yard is loaded with small, not all that great, pears. This morning we worked together to pick up the ones that had fallen to the ground so the chickens could enjoy them.
They loved them!
Truck loads of blocks and friends to enjoy them with
Hello!
The Lord delights in His creative power. He "throws down the gauntlet" by asking who rivals Him in His creative power. "To whom will you compare Me? Who is My equal?" asks the Holy One. Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out one after another, calling each by it's name. And He counts them to see that none are lost or have strayed away." (Isaiah 40:25-26 NLT) "I am the One who made the earth and created people to live on it. With My hands I stretched out the heavens. All the millions of stars are at My command. (Isaiah 45:12 NLT)
